Dreamy Earth to Table The Farm Wedding | Jaclyn & David
We were so thrilled when we heard back from Jaclyn and David after sending them their Earth to Table the Farm Wedding film. It was the perfect late summer wedding, with beautiful vows, stunning venues and a dream-like sunset shoot. Jaclyn and David clearly put their hearts and souls into the wedding, and we think it shows. More importantly, they had the time of their lives, and loved looking back on the experience through their wedding film:
“Mark! Oh my gosh where do we even start. We’ve tried to write this email about 4 times now, but then we didn’t even know how to put into words how incredible the film is. We LOOVE the video so much! We’ve watched it over and over and over, every single day since you sent it. We waited until we were with our family for Christmas to show them and EVERYONE cried when they watched it.” Jaclyn & David.
THIS is why you need a sunset shoot as part of your wedding day. It’s not just all about the beautiful light. It’s about spending quality, quiet time together, being playful and reminiscing about the amazing day so far. Being in that state of mind allows us to capture more authentic moments away from the hustle and bustle of a wedding day.
Jaclyn and David chose to have their wedding reception at Earth to Table the Farm which was the perfect venue for a late summer wedding. It’s situated on 97 acres of beautiful farmland in Flamborough with stunning views, tall grass, beautiful trees and a barn which dates back to the 1800s. It’s a venue you can truly relax at, listening to the sound of cicadas, whilst sipping wine, watching the farmers tend to their crops (which handily made their way to the dinner table later in the evening).
Jaclyn and David are huge travel fans. They’ve traversed the world together, visiting dozens of countries. David even proposed on the trip of a lifetime in Africa. Travel was a big theme of their wedding, in more ways than one. They began their day at air BnB’s in Hamilton before heading to the Royal Botanical Gardens for their first look, portraits and vow exchange.
In the afternoon we drove over to St Thomas the Apostle Church in Waterdown for their ceremony. We have to say – Jaclyn and David absolutely blew us away with their venue choices – this church was easily one of the nicest churches we’ve filmed at, with a ton of bright natural light flooding the room.

By this point we were already excited about the footage we’d been able to capture so when we arrived at Earth to Table the Farm our jaws dropped. We immediately bust out the drone to capture the gorgeous vistas before all the guests arrived. From then on, we were spoiled with moment after moment; a bustling cocktail hour, a peaceful sunset shoot, wonderful speeches and then that sparkler first dance under the string lights. What an incredible day.

A few more words from Jaclyn & Davd:
“We had no idea you were able to get the drone shots and we are SO happy you did because they add so much to the overall feeling of the video. So many people have commented on the small details, like the close ups of our map wall that match what is being said in the voice over from the speeches, our vows/letters we wrote to each other being played throughout the video, and all the candid shots of people laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves.”
“We have had so many people tell us it looks like a commercial or film you would see on TV. We are so thankful that we chose you to be our videographer to capture the most important day of our lives so far. We are incredibly grateful for the long hours you spent with us that day and all of the hours you put into editing our film. Thank you so very much. We will cherish this film forever!”
